Calmer Walk Series
Calm, clarity and confidence — from the front door to real-world freedom
Walking your dog should feel enjoyable, not stressful. But for many owners, walks are filled with:
-
pulling on the lead
-
over-excitement
-
poor focus
-
unreliable recall
-
or emotional reactions to dogs, people or environments
The Calmer Walk Series is a structured set of courses designed to support you and your dog to move through the world more calmly — step by step.

You can join one course, combine two, or follow the full pathway, depending on what you and your dog need right now.
There’s no quick-fix approach here.
We focus on foundations, emotional regulation, and skills that actually transfer into real life.
1
Calm on the Lead
This is where calm walks begin.
Calm on the Lead focuses on the foundations of walking together — not just what happens outside, but everything that leads up to it.
We work on:
-
calm exits from the house and car
-
understanding what the lead means
-
loose lead walking without force or frustration
This course is ideal if:
-
your dog pulls on the lead
-
walks feel frantic or over-exciting
-
your dog struggles to focus outside
-
you want calmer walks without constant correction
2
Freedom with Recall
Building reliable responses through trust and practice

Freedom with Recall focuses on:
-
name response and orientation
-
clear, reliable recall cues
-
working with distance and distractions
-
calm lead-on transitions
This course is ideal if:
-
your dog ignores recall cues
-
recall falls apart around distractions
-
your dog avoids the last part of coming back
-
you want more off-lead freedom, safely
3
Walking with Confidence
This programme is for dogs who find walks emotionally difficult.
Walking with Confidence goes beyond skills and looks at:
-
understanding reactivity
-
threshold management
-
co-regulation
-
emotional safety
-
building confidence in challenging environments
This programme supports both dog and owner, helping you feel calmer, more capable, and more connected on walks.
This programme is ideal if:
-
your dog reacts to other dogs, people, or environments
-
walks feel stressful or unpredictable
-
you feel on edge or unsure how to help your dog
-
you want deeper support and guidance
